Finally some fun colors for summer! The new Maurice Lacroix Aikon #Tide is a real breath of fresh air on a hot day! This model offers multiple eye-catching color variations, not just a watch. Made from recycled plastic sourced from the ocean – 17 bottles to be exact – this watch is perfect for active summer as it not only looks great, but is also durable and waterproof. Even with my heart leaning towards the green version, we decided to test the fuchsia model around the office. Needless to say, I was not ignored. I’m not sure if it’s because of the lightness of the shade, or because I’m a man who wears pink, or both, but I’m enjoying the attention! Anyway, this Aikon #Tide is doing its part for the environment and making me stand out from the crowd; what more can I ask for?

I was honored to be invited to the launch of the new Maurice Lacroix Aikon #Tide in Miami, where I discovered the watch and its sustainability philosophy firsthand. It is one thing to make timepieces out of old fishing nets, but quite another to upgrade them to materials that meet the quality standards of the watchmaking world. Needless to say, Maurice Lacroix and Tide have done an excellent job of this. I can’t remember how many people have stopped me from asking about this watch since I put it on. Its fuchsia case and dial studded with diamonds and white rubber strap are perfect for summer.

Le Méridien Introduces the New Aikon Venturer 38mm Green Dial Watch

Maurice Lacroix presents the new Aikon Venturer watch, available in three different models. The new watch has a diameter of 38 mm and is unisex in size, suitable for both men and women. The new watch has a diameter of 38 mm, which is significantly smaller than the previous 43 mm. In addition, the stainless steel case continues the classic one-piece design of the Aikon Venturer series, equipped with a sapphire crystal mirror, screw-in crown and solid bottom cover, with excellent water resistance to 300 meters. The unidirectional rotating bezel has green inserts, and the diving scale is subtly integrated with the iconic “paws”.

The dial is in the same color as the bezel and is decorated with sunburst patterns. All hands and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova to ensure readability in dark environments. The outer edge of the dial is marked with a white minute track, while the date window is located at 3 o’clock.

The new watches are equipped with the Calibre ML115 self-winding movement, which is improved from the SW200-1, contains 26 jewels, vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and can provide a power reserve of 38 hours. The solid caseback features a wavy pattern and the Le Méridien “M” branding.
