Grand Seiko returns to this year’s Watches & Wonders of Geneva with the launch of seven new models covering a range of popular and iconic styles, as well as updated dial designs and color schemes. Read on for a list of Grand Seiko products currently on display at the event.

Spring Drive Chronograph GMT SBGC275 “Lion’s Mane”
Grand Seiko continues to draw design inspiration from the landscape surrounding its watch studio, bringing the fiery tones of the Shinshu sunrise into the dial of this new Spring Drive Chronograph GMT. At first glance, the reference boasts a sweet crimson color that’s reminiscent of the limited-edition SBGE305 released in February. Looking closely, the dial color changes from red to bright orange, thanks to its new patented dial coating technology called Optical Multi-Layer Coating.

Spring Drive 8 Days Jewelry Watch SBGD215
In line with last year’s SBGD213, this new Spring Drive 8-day jewelry watch also adopts a cold color scheme and a gem-studded appearance. While the previous generation featured a blue mother-of-pearl dial, the SBGD215 features a “lion’s mane” textured dial in 18k white gold, all housed in a 44.5mm wide platinum 950 case. The watch is hand-set with 148 diamonds and 146 sapphires and comes on a shiny blue leather strap.

Spring Drive GMT SBGE307 “Lion’s Mane”
The “lion’s mane” textured dial has appeared on many models in the Spring Drive series. It is worth noting that at last year’s Watches and Wonders in Geneva, Grand Seiko released the Spring Drive SBGA481 “Tokyo Lion”. This time around, the Japanese watch brand has used this unique pattern on the dial of its Spring Drive GMT watch. Encased in high-strength titanium, the watch measures 44.5mm in diameter and comes with a matching bracelet. Lumibrite-coated hour markers and hands complement the distinctive glow of the patterned dial, while the reddish-brown outline of the GMT accentuates the dial with a warm tone. The SBGE307 “Lion’s Mane” watch is powered by Caliber 9R66, which can run continuously for up to 72 hours.

Hi-Beat 36000 GMT SBGJ277 “Snow Valley”
Powered by Grand Seiko’s Hi-Beat 36000 GMT 9S86 movement, the SBJ277 is the latest addition to the “Snowy Valley” pattern dial series. The dial features an exquisitely molded dial pattern that depicts the ethereal and calming landscape observed in the mountains near the brand’s watchmaking studio. Crafted from stainless steel, this watch features a two-tone rotating bezel, a matching metal bracelet, and a stunning exhibition caseback showcasing its movement.

SBGW314 “Starry Night”
The latest redesign of Grand Seiko’s first watch subtly refreshes a mid-century classic, enhancing its timeless appeal. Crafted from 18K rose gold, the watch’s sparkling “Starry Night” dial is an alluring shade of blue that matches its romantic name. The dial is adorned with 18K gold indexes and handsets, echoing the luster and warmth of the slim and elegant 38mm case. Its chic exterior houses the manually wound 9S64 movement, which provides a 72-hour power reserve for the chime. The SBGW314 “Starry Night” comes with two navy and brown alligator leather straps.

Evolution 9 SLGH021 “Xianmei Valley”
Featuring a tranquil light green dial, the SLGH021 is the first watch in the Evolution 9 series to feature Ever-Brilliant stainless steel. The accompanying bracelet is also made from the same alloy material known for its high corrosion resistance. The dial draws aesthetic inspiration from the beauty of the Genme Valley, with delicate patterns reminiscent of mosaic-like fragments that sparkle with every flicker of light. The 40mm striker is powered by the 9SA5 Hi-beat 36000 automatic movement, which offers 80 hours of continuous operation and features time and date indications.
