The launches at Watches & Wonders are in full swing, and Grand Seiko fake is one of the many big names showing off their new products on the show floor. This morning, the Japanese brand unveiled a staggering nine new models.

Grand Seiko ‘Birch Bark’ in Rose Gold and Titanium
For the first time in over 50 years, Grand Seiko has announced a new manual-winding, high-frequency movement, Caliber 9SA4. The brand produced this movement in the 60s and 70s in pursuit of stability and greater precision. In 2024, the brand is returning to these roots with two new dress watches (one limited edition, one flagship).

If you’ve ever been to northern Japan, you may be familiar with the slender white birch trees that grow in certain areas. One of the areas where these trees grow happens to be near the Grand Seiko Shizukuishi studio. The sublime beauty of these birch trees inspired the dials of these dress best cheap watches that will be part of the Evolution 9 collection.

Available in pink gold and titanium, the Birch Bark features the new Caliber 9SA4, and the design has been refined and updated in many ways to convey the appeal one would expect from a hand-wound dress watch. The new Evolution 9 models now offer slimmer hour markers, narrower lugs and a lower center of gravity, as well as a multi-dimensional textured dial that is reminiscent of the Japanese birch trees.

Grand Seiko ‘Genbi Valley’

Another new addition to the Evolution 9 collection is the Genbi Valley. The Genbi Valley model features a new textured dial pattern inspired by the colors of the Genbi Valley landscape in Japan, and is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case. The watch is water-resistant to 10 bar, anti-magnetic, and features a transparent caseback. It is equipped with a mechanical Calibre 9SAS movement that provides the wearer with an impressive 80-hour power reserve and an accuracy of +5/-3 seconds per day.

Grand Seiko ‘Starry Night’
This new addition to the elegant collection is inspired by the ‘Starry Night’, also known in English as Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’. With a stunning blue hue reminiscent of the famous night sky painting, this limited edition watch echoes the first modern Grand Seiko models of the 1960s. This elegant timepiece features a 38mm diameter 18k rose gold case with a blue alligator leather strap and is powered by a mechanical manual movement Calibre 9S64 with a power reserve of up to 72 hours.

Grand Seiko ‘Sekkei’ Snow Valley
The first of these new releases to enter the Grand Seiko sports collection is Snow Valley. Sekkei is inspired by the midsummer in the mountains of Japan and means ‘snow valley’. The dial is an oasis of earthy green tones, revealing the textures and colors of the snow left behind by the winter through the remnant snow, while the green bezel and matching green GMT hand naturally mimic the new greenery that emerges as winter turns to spring. The Snow Valley model is equipped with Caliber 9S86 mechanical movement, with 55 hours of power reserve, date display, three-time zone GMT and 20 bar water resistance. All of this is housed in a 44.2 mm stainless steel case.

The first features a unique color-changing dial that mimics the changing colors of the Shinshu sunrise against the backdrop of Hotaka, specifically the Hotaka region of Japan – the region where every Grand Seiko Spring Drive piece is made. 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the first Grand Seiko watch to feature the 9R Spring Drive movement series, which is now used in all Grad Seiko Spring Drive models.

Silvered movement components highlight the delicate construction of the components, and for the first time, sapphires are used as gemstones in a luxury Grand Seiko watch movement. The white Kodo is driven by Caliber 9ST1, which consists of approximately 340 components.

Grand Seiko “White Lion III”
Finally, a new member of the Masterpiece collection. it features a 44.5 mm platinum 950 case, a Spring Drive 9R01 movement, a power reserve of 192 hours, and an accuracy of +0.5 seconds per day.
