Franck Muller Revolution Series

Franck Muller Watchland’s Revolution series tourbillon represents some of the most ambitious, radical and amazing achievements in the history of contemporary watchmaking.

Franck Muller Revolution 1
From the beginning, Franck Muller understood the emotion that the tourbillon rotation brought to the watch owner. Emotions are the reason why Franck Muller produces most flying tourbillons, because if there is no top bridge, you will have a clearer understanding of the tourbillon mechanism.

But even so, Frank noticed that the owner of the tourbillon always kept the watch close to his eyes so that he could peek into the mechanical world. He wondered if it was possible to make a tourbillon that rose from the dial, so that the owner could really understand the mechanical principles of the cage. He began to experiment with this idea and proposed an extraordinary mechanism, Revolution 1.

Press the button on the left side of the case, and the tourbillon carriage will rise until it is only a few microns away from the sapphire crystal top glass. From the side, you will find that the balance wheel is fully raised above the dial height. The result is unprecedented complications of this watch.

Franck faced a challenge in the watch design process. If you happen to place the hand of the tourbillon over the hole when you press the button (for example, at 6 o’clock), you may damage the hand of the tourbillon. Therefore, he decided to create a function where no matter where the hands are on the dial, they will jump to 12 o’clock to ensure that they do not block the rising tourbillon cage. But more importantly, when you release the button, these hands must jump back to the correct timing position without losing the accuracy of one second. Although this sounds simple, the potential technical challenges are extreme. It is much more difficult to make the pointer jump back to the correct time than just to raise the tourbillon.

This is why Revolution 1 is so difficult to develop, because he has to make two tricky animals-one for each hand. Therefore, for great Franck Muller, the success of the subsequent Revolution 1 proved that the potential for redevelopment of the tourbillon for contemporary consumers has not yet been developed. The praise won by Revolution 1 soon paved the way for the breakthrough of classic watches in the new millennium (the first multi-axis tourbillon watch).

Franck Muller Revolution 2: Dual-Axis Tourbillon
The tourbillon-or “whirlwind”, literally translated from French-is the most in-depth, most acclaimed and generally acclaimed complication of advanced watchmaking. It consists of a cage in which are placed all the adjusters of the mechanical watch, including the balance wheel, hairspring and escapement. Then, it rotates around its own axis every 60 seconds to find the average error caused by gravity on these components when the watch is in the vertical position.

Since the “classic” tourbillon is designed specifically for pocket watches, it can only compensate for the negative effects of gravity in its vertical position. Therefore, after months of research and development, Franck Muller launched Revolution 2 of the tourbillon cheap men watches. Orbit 2 rotates around two axes, so it can compensate the influence of gravity not only in the vertical position but also in the horizontal position. This is the first time that the watch’s tourbillon has a new connection.

Franck Muller Revolution 3
The tourbillon is designed for pocket watches, so it is placed vertically. However, for watches, the average position may vary greatly depending on the wearer’s movement, which in turn will cause significant changes in running.

Therefore, after years of development, Franck Muller manufactured the world’s first three-axis tourbillon in 2004, which completely changed the watchmaking industry. The engineers of Franck Muller carried out a second revolution and even created masterpieces. Revolution 3 provides extraordinary technical wonders and emotions that only Franck Muller can discover. This three-axis tourbillon corrects gravity in all positions, while the classic tourbillon only compensates when the watch is in the vertical position. This striking complexity is the result of one of the most complex works in high-end watches.

Due to its complex cage system as follows, this technology miraculously compensates for the influence of gravity. In the first minute, the cage rotates around its own axis, which is the center of the balance. The second cage rotates from top to bottom or along the vertical axis. The second barrel-shaped cage completes a 360-degree rotation every eight minutes. Finally, the third cage rotates from left to right or along the horizontal axis, and completes a full rotation every hour.

Power flows from the gear train through all three cages and impulses the balance 5 times per second. Because Revolution 3 has three cages, the resistance of the gear train to overcome is great.

The Replica Watches Online needs a lot of good energy to drive this three-axis tourbillon, so Franck Muller (Franck Muller) created a huge power supply for 10 days. As with “Revolution 2,” there are two retrograde instructions for the progress of the eight-minute cage and the 60-second cage.

Franck Muller Evolution 3-1
With its healthy power supply and reasonable multi-cage design, the timing function of the Revolution 3 three-axis tourbillon is so good that Franck Muller realized that it has added more to this already huge technical achievement. Much complexity.

Evolution 3-1 combines an incredible three-axis tourbillon and Franck Muller’s retrograde perpetual calendar.

It is a very beautiful thing to witness the complicated rotation of the tourbillon on three axes and the experience function of the perpetual calendar.

At the end of the month, especially at the end of the year, observing the changes in this watch is a highly complex symphony that is different.
