U-BOAT Classico: Polarized Dark Mystery

Italo Fontana’s new U-BOAT Classico Polarized Dark Mistery watch offers an unprecedented experience: by rotating the bezel, the polarized lens transforms from complete black to a visible dial.

Through a fresh interpretation of the Classico collection, U-BOAT introduces a surprising concept: time is no longer something to be endured, but something you can choose to reveal or hide.

Its most striking feature is its polarized lens system, which allows for a gradual change in light and dark with a single rotation of the bezel.

This fake luxury watch features a commanding 47mm case, inspired by the classic and robust aesthetic of the Classico collection, and is available in satin-finished stainless steel and a striking black version with a DLC coating. Both watches feature raised engravings on both sides of the bezel reading “Rotating Bezel – Polarized Lens,” a technical detail and brand identifier that highlights the experimental nature of this timepiece.

On the left is the iconic U-BOAT crown cover, designed to ensure free wrist movement; the case back is sealed with seven screws, housing a Swiss-made precision movement: the Sellita SW200 automatic movement, vibrating at 28,800 times per hour, clearly visible through the unique U-shaped crystal. https://www.moon-watch.co.uk

The dial displays a three-tone beige hue, with black Super-LumiNova-coated hour markers and hands clearly and conspicuously indicating the hours, minutes, and seconds, creating a striking and elegant contrast. Additionally, a red Super-LumiNova-coated hand indicates the 24-hour timekeeping.

A signature feature of the Dark Mistery is also a black vulcanized rubber strap.
